  • Afropop  
    Afropop is a radio program, a web site, a searchable database, an international musical archive, a team of researchers, and a travel series to Africa and Latin America. Their vision is to increase the profile of African and African Diaspora music worldwide, and to see that benefits go back to artists, music industry professionals, and the countries that produce the music.
     
  • Global Music Archive
    A collaboration between the Blair School of Music and the University Libraries at Vanderbilt University, the Global Music Archive is a multi-media reference archive and resource center for traditional and popular song, music, and dance of Africa and the Americans. Its Digital Collection of East African Recordings consists of over 2,000 discrete musical performances recorded by an East African ethnomusicologist, Centurio Balikoowa.

  • WEFT
    Community radio for East Central Illinois (USA). Broadcasts online. African music show RISE, AFRICA RISE! from 1 PM to 3 PM US Central Standard Time (CST), hosted by Crystal Marshal Rise, Africa Rise! is a celebration of the African Diaspora. This live show features the best of African music from the Continent, Brazil, the Carribean, North, South and Central America. Each week on Rise, Africa Rise! you can hear a segment which focuses on culture, art, history, science, politics in direct relation to MaMa Africa. WEFT also features world beat and related music every afternoon CST.
